Trinity RFC Announces Exciting New Leadership Structure for Senior Rugby

Trinity RFC is delighted to announce a comprehensive restructure of our Senior Rugby section, bringing together an impressive lineup of talent and expertise to drive the club forward into an exciting new chapter.

New Leadership Team

Matt Higgins steps into the role of Director of Rugby, bringing with him a significant and successful playing and coaching career at National League levels. Matt takes over from Andy Edwards who remains an integral part of our club family. Andy transitions into a dedicated role developing our 2nd XV, where his wealth of experience will continue to benefit Trinity RFC. Matt will seamlessly combine his new DoR responsibilities with his existing coaching duties, working alongside George Kimmins, who we are delighted will continue as Senior Coach within the squad and bring his keen eye for attacking play and player development. His valuable input in his first season with the club helped to provide a foundation for success upon which we will continue to grow.

Mark Dean joins Trinity RFC as our new Director of Operations, bringing extensive experience in Operations and Team Management for Nigeria and Elite 7s teams. Mark’s focus on the critical off-pitch elements that form the backbone of successful rugby ensures we have the robust foundations and organisational structure needed to translate our ambitions into on-field success.

George Daniels will continue in his coaching role, working alongside Andy Edwards with the 2nd XV while also providing valuable support across the broader coaching setup. A 1st XV player and coach who has been part of the club for over a decade, George brings invaluable Trinity RFC knowledge and experience. This strengthened coaching structure demonstrates our commitment to developing talent at every level.

Completing this stellar lineup, Jas Mills returns as Head Physio, bringing her experience with Trinity RFC and Shogun back to our senior team operations.

The combination of experienced club stalwarts and fresh perspectives creates an exciting foundation for the seasons ahead, with our sights firmly set on building a club that operates at a National level.
