U6
Reception & Year 1
A first taste of rugby. Everything is a game — running, dodging, catching, and learning to play alongside other children. No contact, no pressure, and a parent is always welcome on the pitch.

What they'll learn
At U6 the aim is simple: they want to come back next Sunday.
Running forwards with the ball in two hands
Pulling a tag and calling "tag!"
Passing backwards to a teammate
Finding space and dodging
Listening to the coach and playing to a whistle
Being part of a team, and losing well
What to bring
Boots or trainers, gum shield (not required for tag), warm layers, water bottle. Club kit is available from the shop but isn't needed to start.
First session
Turn up at 10:00 on a Sunday and ask for the U6 coach. The first three sessions are free — no need to book.
