MOVEMBER AT THE MIDS /DR ALEX CURMI – THE FULL SESSION

As part of the long-term planning for player welfare and looking after the good people we have at the club, we invited Dr Alex Curmi to host a session on mental health and holistic welfare.

This Movember at the Mids event was part of our programme of practical support for our players, supporters and club members, to ensure we continue a holistic approach to player health and well-being.

Dr Alex, a Consultant Psychiatrist, spoke about the Problems of Modern Society, the Burdens of Performance and the ‘huge problem’ of the modern artificial environment that we live in – particularly with regard male/female relationships and working lives.
