Rugby Club Vice President, Bill Cobbett sadly passed away on Tuesday 8 July, two weeks short of what would have been his 94th birthday.

Bill was an active member of both the rugby and cricket club in his playing days!. After his rugby playing days finished, Bill picked up the flag and ran the touch line throughout the 50s and 60s in addition to also serving on the rugby club committee. Bill was also Membership Secretary for the association between 1959 and 1975 and Honorary General Secretary of the association from 2000 to 2011. Bill will be missed by not only the rugby and cricket clubs but also the wider Trinity community.

Bill’s funeral will be on Thursday 7 August at Croydon Crematorium (East Chapel) at 11:15am.

Cricket themed ties and rugby blazers are encouraged.
